Summer 2010 Revised Schedule Info

    • Update 7/20/10: AMERICAN AND NATIONAL LEAGUE SCHEDULE CHANGES
      Effective immediately, ALL AMERICAN LEAGUE GAMES for the remainder of the summer season have been moved to ARROYO GRANDE #7 due to field repairs at Russell #3. As a result, ALL NATIONAL LEAGUE games will be played at RUSSELL #2. INTERLEAGUE GAMES will remain at ANTHEM HILLS PARK as scheduled. See AL and NL Schedule pages for details.
    • Update 7/3/10: By popular demand, the Coed games have been moved back to the lower field at Anthem Park.
    • New Summer 2010 League schedules are now posted. Please note revised schedules posted on 6/25 and addition of position round in final week of regular season. Please disregard the schedules posted previously on June 23, as there are additional changes that affect each league.
    • Week 7 games will be a position round, where the top 2 teams will face each other, along with the 3rd and 4th place teams entering the final week of the regular season. Schedules for the position round will not be determined until the first six weeks of play are completed. This format should provide some competition for the regular season championships on the final week. Feedback is encouraged after the season ends, this schedule format is being tested on a trial basis this summer.

Approved Bats

USSSA Official list of approved bats - HSG uses USSSA umpires and abides by USSSA rules. Bats not on this list may be disallowed by the umpire at any time due to safety concerns. Bats on the list are approved for league play.

Fall Saturday League Now Forming

Henderson Sport Group, in conjunction with the Henderson Park and Rec. will be starting a Saturday morning softball league. All Games will be held at Anthem Hills Park beginning in September. All 40+ male players are welcome to join; for now it will only be a mens league. Teams will be formed via an open draft. Ages will be equally divided to ensure fair play. 

Teams will play doubleheaders with the same rules as the night leagues.  USSSA umpires will officiate the games.
